Father Saves Family
A shift-worker was awoken in the late hours of the evening by the terrified screams of his wife and daughter...
Without thinking, he grabbed the protection spray lying on his nightstand, and sprinted into the living-room, where his family had been watching TV. Upon entering the room he ran headlong into four armed men. Without a moments hesitation, and bellowing like and enraged bull, he ejected the contents of the spray in all directions.
He sprayed his wife, he sprayed his daughter, he sprayed himself, and he sprayed his assailants, as he flooded the room with pepper gas, contaminating the would-be scene of the crime. The chaos proved too much for the ill-fated home-invaders, and they fled the scene, tripping, coughing and crying. This was not part of the script as they had envisioned it...
The man directed his family to the bathroom, where they washed they faces and rinsed out their eyes. All was well, and no-one seriously harmed. Dad was a hero!
Failed Abduction Attempt
Last week our family experienced a near tragedy that you may have heard about. Our son Dakota was approached by a couple of strangers in a car enticing him to take some candy. This happened very close to our house which made the experience that much more frightening.
My son handled the situation in a nearly perfect fashion. He found himself only feet away from two people he did not know, along a sidewalk with a wall, the car door open and feeling pretty uncomfortable. He maintained eye contact, never turned his back to them, did not engage their conversation and cleared himself from the car and returned straight home safely.
He was able to describe the car; the two individuals and what they were wearing. I truly believe that at that moment in time Dakota utilized all that he has learned and perhaps without knowing it, projected a sense of confidence and assurance that he was not going to be a victim. I believe that this lead to the decision by his predators that trying to take this kid was simply not going to be worth the trouble.
I know you taught this exact concept in your training, and it is very possible that my son is sleeping in his bed, in his house this very evening as a result of what you have taught him...

Victim Empowered
Jeane’ is another of those pretty girls who has paid the price for her beauty. Together with her mother she was attacked – twice, by gangs – and suffered a terrible ordeal.
